Student citizens using clean energy, Netherlands responded in the best possible way:
It began earlier this year when The Hague court accepted the lawsuit filed by 886 Dutch citizen on Dutch government demanding that it limit carbon dioxide emissions, CO2, and ruled governance for the benefit of citizens that the Dutch government adopts the goal of reduction of carbon emissions by at least 25% During the next five years!
That requires a lot of steps is the most recent of which was the Dutch Railways Authority to announce the transition to wind energy by 50% at its facilities and trains by the end of this year, and 100% by 2018.
Imagine that the trains will operate only in the Netherlands and only card is generated from the air !!
Although the trains that transport 1.2 million passengers a day contribute to the emission of 550 kilo tonnes of carbon dioxide, but the railway company hopes to reach these emissions to zero within a few years only because the transport and connectors sector is responsible for 20% of emissions carbon dioxide in the Netherlands, and if we want to travel, it is important that we do so without burdening the environment emissions of carbon dioxide and particulate matter, so such a rapid shift to renewable energy safe sources is exactly what we need to address climate worsening change issues.
Do you think that we can see such a project in one of the Arab states?
